Update!

Hello! ..almost a month later and about that time to update you all. I have been rather busy this past month, but I am happy to report I have actually taken a bit of time to work on my book. Shocking I know. As you may or may not have figured out by now, I am extremely behind schedule compared to where I would like to be. I have a first draft drawn up... and have had for just about two years now (I almost cannot believe it's been that long!) What I have so far, however, has many gaps and holes and needs serious attention... especially when it comes to the dialogue - oh dialogue you're a horrid wench! I had set myself the goal of having the story completely ironed out by Christmas so I could begin the process of trying to have my novel published by next year. There's still time! ... or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Just the other day, one of my friends asked me if I would be partaking in NaNoWriMo this year. I think ultimately I will have to. NaNo is how I even got a first draft to begin with and I think I might just use this year's run as a challenge to edit, edit, edit (by which I of course mean bridge the gaps and fill the holes).
