Make Your Own: Alcoholic Sundae Bar

I know, I know. What happened to last week? I am sorry but life caught up to me this last little while, as it has a tendency to do. But! I am back and here to share with you all the magic of alcoholic ice cream. This delectable treat tastes just like vanilla ice cream, with a kick. Even better, it's the perfect treat for summer entertaining. So without further ado, here's what you need to make your own:

One Batch Alcoholic Ice Cream:

Ingredients:

1 package instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups milk

1 tub whipped topping

3/4 cup crème de cacao

1/4 cup vodka (I used vanilla flavoured!)

Prepare:

Mix the pudding mix and milk together as directed on the package. Add the whipped topping and mix well. Add alcohol and mix until all combined. Pour into pail/bucket/etc. and freeze until ready to serve.

That's it! super easy and super delicious... I made 8 batches all together, filling up about 3 sand pails from the dollar store (they were from a previous beach themed party). Then all you have to do is assemble your own selection of toppings (I had an assortment of sundae sauce, chocolates, and candies to choose from) and serve!
