So life can get pretty hectic. This is a given. Especially if you're like me and are working a full time job during the week, trying to finish a novel in your spare time, and refusing to completely give up your social life. Now if you're anything like I am, food very quickly becomes the first thing to suffer - going for convenience instead of nutrition. I find personally my biggest issue is coming up with what to make each day, and then having all of tge necessary ingredients. Now, trying not to sound too much like an ad, thank goodness for the internet! I stumbled upon a free app that meal plans for me. It's called mealime and it allows you to enter in any dietary restrictions and food preferences to create a meal plan of as few as 1 or as many as 6 meals. You can select each meal to be either 2 or 4 servings and the app generates your grocery list for you as well as the recipes. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I haven't yet made a food I didn't like. The only caution I would give to anyone who decides to try it out.. the first time you use it can be a bit more expensive if you dont have a lot of the essential staples that get repeated in pretty well every recipe. However, if you stick it out as I have, the food costs do go down.
note: I am in no way affiliated with the creators of the mealime app, nor am I getting any sort of payment for promoting it. I really just felt that it made my life easier, so why wouldn't I want to share it with you all for that reason alone?
Happy cooking :)
